Print-On-Demand Submission Policy
Battle Layers Studio offers a Print-on-Demand (POD) service for customers who wish to submit their own STL files for 3D printing. By submitting a file, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Submission Guidelines
- All submitted files must be in .STL format and suitable for FDM or resin printing.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that files are watertight, properly scaled, and printable. We may contact you if we detect technical issues, but we do not provide design or repair services unless previously arranged.
- Orders are printed exactly as submitted. Battle Layers Studio is not responsible for design errors, undersizing, or unsupported structures in user-submitted models.
Intellectual Property (IP) & Licensing
By uploading an STL file, you confirm that:
- You either own the rights to the file or are explicitly licensed to have it printed.
- Your submission does not violate any copyrights, trademarks, or third-party licenses.
Battle Layers Studio does not print:
- Commercially licensed files without proof of proper authorization (e.g., Patreon rewards, Kickstarter STLs, or files marked “for personal use only”).
- Fan-made or derivative content that may infringe on registered IP (e.g., from Warhammer, Star Wars, D&D, etc.) without proper documentation.
- We do not accept files from services such as Hero Forge, Eldritch Foundry, or other character creation platforms that prohibit third-party commercial printing. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the files they submit are licensed for external production and do not violate any intellectual property rights.
- Offensive, harmful, or illegal content.
We reserve the right to refuse any print job at our sole discretion, especially if it raises legal, ethical, or quality concerns.
Fulfillment & Limitations
- Turnaround times vary depending on model complexity, printer load, and material needs.
- We do not guarantee output quality if the submitted model contains mesh issues, non-manifold edges, or poorly supported elements.
- Once printing begins, no cancellations or refunds are permitted for STL-submitted orders.
